Traffic was very Manageable. People brought in beautiful trades. Ford did 85k in gross Chevy did about the same. In all my years I have never seen so many trades detailed and in such good shape. Most of the deals were on vehicles 70 days or older. Sold over 2 million in inventory. Great sale! We are very happy. Hard to top this! Hit the quota with Chevrolet and earned a $26,000 Bonus. Went over on Saturday. We could not have made it without this sale!

Charlie, Larry... It was a great success. Despite the fact we had pouring down rain and WSU / UW football games on TV the day of the sale, we registered 111 customers on Friday, 106 on Saturday and 62 on Sunday. Even though we have 40 sales people, there was a good chance we lost a few opportunities due to the volume of traffic! We ended up selling 51 new Toyota’s and 78 total including pre-owned. We will definitely contact you with some dates for our next sale!

Larry it was really hot. There was an air show and they closed the Freemont Bridge for a while but we still had a good sale. Most of the other dealers were dead but I think we did the best in our group. We told our sister store, Ron Tonkin Honda to go ahead with the promotion. It saved our weekend. We sold 23.

It started snowing on Wednesday the day before the sale and it got down to 20 degrees with a cold wind on Saturday the last day of the sale. I took a trade over to the Chrysler dealer down the street. They were dead and we were covered. Larry, I like this sale better than anything I have ever done. The Ice in Oklahoma really hurt our sales. We needed something to work and fast. The Inclement Weather Sale did the trick. The list was great. They were all buyers with good credit. We had fifty units out for the month when the mail hit on January 23rd. When the smoke cleared on the 30th, we had 95 units out. That’s 45 sales off a 7,500 piece mail promotion with some other media to help support it. It saved the month of January for us. Thanks AAI.

I can’t believe we have done 176 sales with you guys over the last eight years and IT’S STILL WORKING. We were too busy. We had people standing in line to buy cars. Who says you have to give away gifts and money to get traffic through the doors? We greeted 250 customers off an 11,000 piece Chevy co-op mailer and sold 54. Your cursive mail piece does not look like junk mail. It got opened. We were surprised to see so many of our regular customers come in off your credit score list. The salespeople did not really buy into the promotion at first but they do now! We are looking at doing one of these promotions once a quarter now. This promotion has got to rank up there as one of the top weekends ever at Lindsay.

The Total Sale was a total success. Your cursive letter split between two stores produced 56 & 54 sales for 110 deals. We had about 10 deliveries prior to the event so you could say 120 total, $336,000 in gross off a 32k piece order. We backed it up with TV, Radio and print. Go all the way with the Total Sale and it pays off. This was the best week end in the history of both stores.

Heavy rains and tornado warnings must have prevented some people from showing up but we still got 107 customers registered. We’ve really been frustrated with mail promotions in the past but this was the best event I can remember. We broke our one day record for sales and it looks like we are going to have the best week end in our 9 year history. The quality of customers was really good. It was very exciting. We’ll do it again.

January and February were not good months for us. We really needed this to work and it did even though we’ve had rain for the last 42 days here. In the first 20 days of the month we had 79 units out. In the last 10 days we did 80. We just missed our record for total sales but hit our record for gross profit. We achieved our objective with Chrysler and made an additional $81,000 bonus. We went from a 90 day supply of inventory to a 30 day supply in just three days. We sold 26 new and 14 used off a 5,000 piece order of your Important Consumer Alert. Forty units sold represents about 80% of what our five salesmen normally sell in a month. We almost paid for the entire promotion from a phone call off your letter 3 days before the event ever started. Our old record for a weekend was 15 so you can imagine how impressed we are with you guys. How many other dealers get nearly 20 times their return on investment? When we found you on the internet we liked you best because your sales were not full of gimmicks like so many others. We are a small town dealer that beat a lot of big boys last weekend.
